Professional Recognition by the American Society of Architectural Illustrators
Teek's Artwork was published in the 33rd Annual Catalog
The American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) has bestowed an award of Observational Excellence for my recent watercolor rendering work. My architectural watercolor Apple Bank for Savings on Broadway and 73rd, New York was published in the 32nd Annual Architecture in Perspective catalog along with being included at the opening of the Architecture in Perspective exhibition. This juried international competition accepts rendering submissions from architects and illustrators across the country and the world. The award ceremony and conference took place October 19 - 21st in Houston, TX. The ASAI Exhibition and Catalog is considered to be the industry standard for showcasing the work of accomplished architectural illustrators around the world. The architecture and design community uses the ASAI as a resource for finding illustrators to render forthcoming design and architectural projects. The Apple Bank watercolor was commissioned by the Stahl Organization, a real estate owner and developer in New York City.
This is the second time I have been accepted into the ASAI catalog. My first rendering accepted was a view of Grand Central Station titled October Morning for the AIP 28 catalog in 2013.
