Greenwich Point Painting Series
Having spent all my life “at the beach” I really appreciate the natural wonder of the 144 Acre Park and beach that pushes into Long Island Sound. My personal challenge when making these works is accurately depicting the time of day and mood. I pay attention to the weather, the tide (lots of people love the sandbars, and the sky. I have made a series of large format works that have been purchased by local residents and former residents as their “memory” of being at the beach.
